Rate for one-off illustrations commissioned by a private individual for personal use:
JPY 2000 per hour, maximum two revisions, digital data and physical print included. For reference, the illustration below took 9 hours, costing JPY 18000 (£115 /$157 as of November 2021). Please contact me at ottiliascribbles@gmail.com to discuss the illustration you would like.
Rates for public use by companies and organisations
For editorial or other public work please contact me directly at ottiliascribbles@gmail.com to discuss. My rates for public commissions are based on the Association of Illustrators’ rates and will change depending on the variables below. If you do not have a budget in mind, please include the following details when you email me:
– Size of your organisation
– Where the illustration will be used (worldwide, EU or a specific country only)
– Duration of licence (1 year or in perpetuity)
– Size/visibility of illustration (spot, half page, full page, cover etc)
