Today, the topic is commuter trains. Living in Yokohama and going to Tokyo every day means I often ride in really packed trains. It’s not as bad as it sounds, though, and I like to ride the trains at night, when there’s something of a magical atmosphere to the reflections in the glass. I tried to capture something of that. Here are the sketches I did first.
Then, I put the layers together on my laptop. The result was this:
I used a couple of tricks like flipping different layers and copying them to get the effect I wanted. I like the end result, and it’s free quality. When I have more time, I’d like to re-work this image into something more refined.
