In 2024, I worked with Mantra Inc. to help translate and proofread light novels. Mantra Inc. is primarily a tech company looking to speed up the process of manga and light novel translation.
This work is on a project basis, including manga or light novels, with roles encompassing translation, proofreading, editing and quality assurance. My role was Quality Assurance or translation post-editing, but in reality involved translation and rewriting to a large degree.
Mantra Inc. works with large teams, meaning that good communication and the ability to work with editors was essential.
