A little bit of scribbly sketching in the sunshine.
Ages ago I took a course in woodblock printing and got some tools to do it. This is the first time I've tried it since then. There's obviously a knack to it - the prints came out so much lighter than I thought! But it was fun and hoping to try more. This is also the first time I've really been able to use my new studio properly ☺️
At the weekend I went for a hike up Mount Tsukuba-san, which includes two peaks of Nantai-san and Nyotai-san. It was gorgeous weather and such a lovely day. If you're interested to go, it has great access from Tokyo via the Tsukuba Express to Tsukuba Center and then Tsukuba Jinja Iriguchi!
Baby Rei Albert fascinated by something. This is based on a photo by @tanaka.suguru.3
The last of the autumn leaves at a lovely auto-campsite this weekend. We stayed in a little log cabin which was so effortless compared to proper camping! Baby Rei loved the leaves too.
Such a beautiful day out today in Shinjuku Gyoen Park. I did a tiny bit of sketching too. A nice treat after visiting the dentist this morning!! Thanks to the lovey @tanaka.suguru.3 for having baby Rei for the day xxxx
